Unit 1 - A 2 hour exam worth 90 marks. This is externally marked and worth double
Unit 4 - Coursework scenarios. This is internally assessed and externally moderated

Unit 2: Working in Business
Unit 5: Marketing and Market Research
Unit 8: Human Resources
Unit 2 - A 90 minutes paper worth 60 marks. Examines the skills and understanding needed to work effectively in a business environment, eg. arranging meetings, working with business documents, making payments, prioritising business activities. This is externally marked.
Unit 5 - Coursework scenarios. You will learn how market research contributes to marketing decision-making with particular emphasis on market research & analysis. This is internally assessed and externally moderated
Unit 8 - Coursework scenarios. Pupils will learn about Human Resources including staff motivation, employment law and staff training.
For each unit, you will be awarded points which equate to an overall grade of Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*.
